Back Home.....

I spent Thanksgiving with my cousin's new in-laws, which I must say wasn't that bad. At least not as bad as I thought it would be. I didn't really eat like I wanted to. It was weird because I'm used to having Thanksgiving with my Great Aunt, Georgia. This year however is the first of many without her. I missed the oily greens, the macaroni salad with too much celery, the sweet potatoes from her garden, the pound cake and jello. I've never really cared for the holidays too much, I've lost a lot of family over the years around this time of year. However, its not all bad I do have some good memories from this time of year too. I just don't think this year is one of those years.
