Christmas and Presents

I tell you this now as a warning, these are just my thoughts I'm not tryin to down Christmas at all. I'm just takin a real look at it. Today is the celebrated day of Jesus Christ's birth. It seems that we have completely forgotten what its really about. Its a time to reflect on life and the blessings God has given us. It seems at no point do we take the time to say thank you Jesus. Its all about the gifts and the food. Well let's look at this, its Jesus' birthday....why are we gettin gifts...? We don't normally give gifts to everybody on somebody else birthday. When is the last Jesus was given the simplest gift....a thank you. I opened 2 gifts this morning...my eyes and my mouth. Thank you Jesus...Until next time..Dos Phalanges
