One year ago today I lost my mother to leukemia. I must say the last year has been really rough for me, though I won't let most people know it. Its hard for me to really express the hurt and anger I feel. My mother was a strong stubborn woman until the end. She survived battles with breast and ovarian cancer. Its been hard tryin to replace this sudden empty feeling I have. I took care of my mother from the time I was 16 til she passed. She just felt more comfortable with me around. We grew really close over those years and the more I look back on it the more I see she was my best friend. I miss her dearly.......
