I have been waking up from the same dream every night for the last week. Its about 5 years ago and I’m sittin there watchin as somebody I onced considered a brother and probably the most musically gifted person I ever met in my life, takes his. I always knew he had his issues but never in a million years did I think that the last words I would have for him would be so harsh. Honestly I knew he leaned on me for a lot of things. I wonder if I had taken the time to set aside my pride and actually listen to what he had to say, that things would have turned out different. I look at music today and think to myself have these rappers ain’t got 1% of the talent he possessed. I guess at this point I feel myself channeling the energy he used to have and the passion for music. I’m still riding for you Cali…..
